Photoshop effect

Hello everybody its been a while since I posted… anyways i was wondering if someone knows of a tutorial or an example or how to make this

take a look at that site… now u see how the animation looks like it was drawed? well i was wondering if i can make that in photoshop. estatic of course so if anyone has an example or a good tutorial i would apreciated…

unfortunately there is now ‘filter’ to do that effect, it’s clearly drawn (and most probably with a drawing pad such as a wacom…)

sure you can… you just need to make your lines a bit wiggly and not precise. If you actually draw it using a brush with a pencil-like setting, then it will look just like that. Obviously it depends on your drawing skills, but yeah… very do-able.

and if you want it animated like that, just do it in flash instead, and make different frames, redrawing the object each time so that the natural differences (you can’t draw EXACTLY the same) will make it look a bit jittery like that.

LoL, the reason it looks like it’s drawn is because it is drawn. There is not tutorial needed for this, if you know how to draw this can be accomplised.

if you have illustrator it would be a tad easier.

why? If I remember correctly you can draw jagged lines in flash too

y not draw out sprites?

i only see 4 images of the dude

flying
sitting looking right
sitting middle
sitting looking left

scan em in and animate add a few whispy lines in the back ground and walla :wink:

jsut like wat u call them things old fashin style things… oh yeah flick books are they?

theres prob hundred ways to do this so go mess about trying stuff. :smiley:

you guys are driving me nuts man. its called pencil and paper and it looks like its probably only 5 drawings that he scanned in. i mean, you can apply all kinds of filters, use wacoms, draw wobbly with a mouse…but in the end your spending a lot of time trying to get a look that takes a few minutes to achieve. why is everyone so afraid of the pencil?

A wacom would be the same thing as drawing it on paper and scanning it in. And the reason ppl don’t use pencil and paper is cause they aren’t artists. There is a huge difference between an artist and a designer. And unfortunately there are so many ppl that never learned the basics and when PS came out it suddenly turned everyone into a so called “designer”
