OK… here’s the problem.
I’ve already found that painter does not work in CMYK at all. So I’ve taken to creating my images in RGB only in photoshop if i know I’m going to be working on them in Painter.
What happens is that I create a file in Photoshop. Usually just the outlines.
Bring it in to Painter and do my coloring to it.
Then a lot of times when I bring it back into Photoshop it still opens the file as CMYK. If I save any changes, even if I convert it back to RGB prior to saving, and open it in Painter it’s (the color) TRASHED. It’s washed out… and it has a very blue tint to it.
so again it goes like this
Create in photoshop
paint and Save in painter.
Take it back into photoshop (this is where i think the problem happens) to make alternate changes
Open again in Painter and all the colors are out of whack and tinted blue.
please… I’m at a complete loss… I don’t know much about painter as I’ve just started using it… and any help would be great.
