Hey Guys,
Need your help. Is there a quick way to get rid of white jackedy edges around a photo. Perhaps a plugin or tutorial? See attached photo.
first off - it’s better to start with a bigger picture if you can and then shrink it to the size you want.
But since life isnt perfect sometimes thats hard to do 
there is a way to do it in photoshop but I find when the colours are really close to the background the best and easiest way to do it is with the eraser tool and some practice. You could always try the magnetic lassoo tool as well.

you can also select and feather and delete - its not an exact art and you probably wont get what you want to… But like sureshot said, its better if you can work from a larger picture.
… if you know what color background its going to be against (if it is going to be against some other color) then you could do some color correcting for those jaggies to make them blend better.
Thanks guys. I appreciate your input. I guess there is not a sure fire method to blending the border to a dark color. I will do some more experimenting.
