In the process of trying to put to gether my portfolio at the moment and unfortunatly I haven’t been able to get printed copies of a lot of my work to photograph.
I wanted to photograph my work like brochures I have done with the spreads open on a white surface because you get the ‘real’ curves and shadows of the page, but since I’m lackign in the printed work to photograph I want to know if there is any techniques that can be use to fake an open brochure?

the above link doesn’t contain faked shots but so you can see what I mean (quite nice work in there also!). I just don’t want to use flat on works I want to have something a little bit better with some depth.
