Photoshop tennis termonology

Ok. I know how to do battles and such… but could someone please define the proper terms used for me? I know a match is the whole battle in it’s entire self… but what is a volley, and a serve?

from what I understand, a serve is a collection of every contestants first image, and a volley is each individual image.

is a “round” the same thing as a volley, or a serve?

please help me out, as I’m creating a battle arena for myself and I want to get the labeling right.
i fell dumb asking, but hey i’m only about 1 month into battling.

Alright hopefully I can explain so here is a list of what they mean.

Round-a round is after both competitors have submitted an entry (say there are two people battling once person a and person b have finished there serves(explained later) then that is one round there are usually four rounds in a graphic battle match.

Serve-The serve is just the first graphic made in the round (like before person a and person b are battling person a goes first his graphic submitted is the serve since it is the first graphic of the round)

Volley-Volley is when the second contestant submits his graphic sort of like in tennis the first person serves then the second volleys(Person B’s graphic using person a’s graphic is a volley)

Hope I explained it if you still not clear I can always answer the other questions you have hope i helped.

hey thanks. i totally get it now.
thanks a ton.

No problem glad to help
