I have created a website for my upcoming wedding. But I need desperate help! For the past two weeks I have been trying to create a guestbook, rsvp form and mailing list to no avail. I created the entire site on .html Now as I read more on trying to figure it out, I see that PHP would be the way to go.
- Is there any way I can create a guestbook on php and simply add it to my guestbook.html site?
1a)If not, what if I delete my guestbook.html page and create a guestbook.php page, can I link it from the main site?
1b) If so, how do I go about making sure that the guestbook.php site looks exactly like the guestbook.html site?
After reading the tutorial, I realized that there are four steps: 1. create guestbook database 2. create guestbook.php 3. create guestbookadd.php 4. create viewguestbook.php
As of right now, I have a guestbook.html and guestbookadd.html --> none of which work because there is no code to make the forms work.
I figured that once I can get the guestbook working, I should be able to move on to the RSVP form and mailing list.
Any hints or tips on what I can or should do?
