I dunno kit, that would involve animated everyones pixel character.
Unless of course the people themselves create a number of a images that when lined up create the walking animation, then they can be put into a movie clip frame by frame 
that is the best solution shane. and hightly doable.

sorry i havn’t been able to make any changes to the FLA in a bit. I kind of got swamped down with moving and then having to catch up on a couple of projects. Changes will be made soon.
But what about us people who aren’t that good at pixel art :hangover: (it takes me forever to do it)

well… i could, but some pixel dudes are way diff than others…
and it will be nescessary 10 images for a complete walking pixel dude…
if we get a team of pixel artists (mariofan, eilsoe, kitty, soul, me, sin,…) we can make a good number of user´s walking dudes.
thats what rev and i were talking about earlier, making games/movies based on pixel characters to prevent the influx of smileys into the board. rev volunteered to do scripts and i dont mind doing a walk cycle or movements or something.

Good point Lost… It would be very time consuming and not everyone is great at pixel art. I think you and Guigo have come up with a good template idea to get round it though. If we can do one person as a frame by frame animation walking, then it can be chopped up and passed around so people can trace their own characters and put them into a small MC…
I will ponder upon this.
i´ll make some templates today (should be posting them by 6:00 pm) of at least a horizontal walking pixel dude, if i have the time, i´ll make an all directions template.

if we get a good team we can manage to make 20 ppl or so, but more than that will be difficult…
