I made it wif photoshop! pixal by pixal!
Any paint program where you can zoom in an use a non anti-aliased pencil tool to click pixel by pixel can be used. If you read the other pages in this thread a few tutorial links for pixel art has been posted.
The Pope actually has used Microsoft Paint for both of his pixel creations. So, with that knowlege, it should become apparent that any program should be sufficient.

Anybody in the mood for making custom smilies?
I am quite possibly the most hopeless pixel artist ever. Actually, I’m not too great at drawing either - but I persevere out of love for the world of art :).
Anyway, if so, please let me know because I would love a custom smiley :sure:. If not, I would love some advice on how to go about making one myself (although, I doubt it will be a pretty sight ;)).

Constant practice is the key man! You only need at least window paint to do pixel drawings. Your love of art is enough to develop your skills. I mean that’s where I started! :beam:
