Ola! I have been working on a platform scroller, and I was wondering if anyone knew where a good platform scroller tutorial is (cause my game is really jacked).

I have a small side scroller that I made. If you would like the file to look at the scrolling mecahanisms, you are more than welcome. My art is crappy, but the scrolling code worked well. Just PM me.

the first link says that there are no results from kirupa.com
the second one is just a forum on flashkit, which i was going to try after trying kirupa.com
and the third i knew about, but didn’t check out EVERY link, which is the main problem
ok well why not try searching kirupa urself, it wont take long to search.
Also you agreed with joMan about not finding anything at flashkit or here even though u hadnt been there. AND u knew about the resources thread but didnt bother to check them all? I mean comon dont be so lazy.

i think ur problem is u want a FULL platform game tutorial all ready and done for you and the fact is, there isnt one that will cover everything u want. there are PLENTY of resources in the threads i gave you that will alow you to make a platform game. But you have to actualy put some effort in and learn the different elements of a platform game. Even if it means searching for each different thing separatly.
It took about 15-20 minutes to find all of them. They all contain great code, Tutorials, FLA’s AND if thats not enough for you i have attached sum FLA’s for you. okay! i shouldnt even have to mention these sites. theyre all contained on flashkit or here and easily accessable IF ur willing to have a little patience and look for them.
Now, please stop trying to retaliate my posts with smart azz comments and go create ur stupid platform game.

yeah, you were right about the thing…i wanted a mega tutorial, but my aol has been a real b**** lately, so i was really going online like 5 min/day
and i never searched forums on other websites
my fault there
but anyway thanks for at least caring enough to find like 15 things, plus the files
