Hello. I’ve been following the kirupa.com Platformer tutorial, and it all works fine up until the point where the walls are added in. For some reason, the character is ignoring the walls. However, the code is copied directly from the tutorial. In addition, I’ve used this tutorial before and it worked fine, but isn’t now. I checked the code in my older game as well as in the example game given, and the codes are exactly the same as far as I can tell, and yet, it’s not working.
Can somebody please tell me what the heck is going on here?
I’m using Flash 8, btw, if it makes any difference (though the old one was done in flash 8, too)
Edit: Apparently the version I uploaded didnt have the problematic walls, so I uploaded a new one. Now, however, the one wall (which blocks rightward movement) works while the other one doesn’t.
