I don’t know why, but the Search function here for me turns up a blank white page. I’ve tried Safari too and get the same thing. I’m sure this is a fairly simple and common question, but can’t get the Search feature to function.
I am trying to get a movie clip to play (and stop) using a graphic Play (and Stop) button. The movie clip animation has to be in it’s own timeline and not on the main timeline.
I’ve purchased ActionScript 3.0 Flash CS5 Classroom in a Book and can’t find the solution to my problem. I kind of understand actionscript but I’ve just started to work with it.
I’ve spent almost 2 days on some simple code and after hundreds of attempts at it, I at least finally got it so that I don’t get any compiler errors, but I still can’t get the buttons to stop the movie in action and then start the movie in action.
