I built this site a while back, but now someone is complaining that the products pages are not working right. He said that the products start loading, but never get loaded…
I’ve never seen this problem on the 3 computers I work on, can anyone try it out and if you have the same problem let me know?
If it happens please let me know which browser you’re using, version of flash player, and what exactly did you do when it stopped working?
The Problem which I’m trying to find is this:
Click on any product menu
Click on any product
On the right side of the page where the image and text load there is “Loading Database” text. The problem I’ve heard is that the image/text never load, and you only see the loading text and then are not able to click on other products, and the menu breaks.
The reason I’m trying to find this problem is this:
I have this same product menu setup on the Vendor website which is password protected. And the IT tech keeps telling me that reps are calling complaining about that problem.
I think it has something to do with the password protection he has set up since I’ve never seen this problem on the main site. The two sites are identical copies of each other. I just can’t figure out why it will work for one and not the other one… and work perfectly on both, then all of a sudden not work at all? I am lost, and he refuses to look into the security and tells me its my coding. How can it work perfectly one minute and then 5 minutes later not work? It just makes no sense to me… Any ideas???
