can someone here explain to me about levels in flash and how to use it…

I believe that levels (in the action section) allow you to control particular ‘layers’ like using css there is the x-index. You can use it to have certain movies loaded and unloaded and stuff. If i am wrong will someone please let ME know what levels are…lol

levels can be occupied by loaded swfs (like stacking pieces of cellophane on top of each other). the base movie is _level0 and there always has to be something at _level0. other movies can be loaded in layers above 0, like _level1 or _level19. loaded movies take on the frame rate, background colour and position at 0,0 of the base movie (unless loaded as an mc)
