Please help urgent - Flash 8 effects not displaying properly in browsers

Hello,

We have prepared various .SWF files with using Flash Professional 8.

We have loaded these .SWF files on the website and then tested in 2 browsers Mozilla Firefox & Internet Explorer on atleast 7-8 PCs.

Results are strange !!!

On some PCs, some flash effects are not displaying in Internet Explorer while they are displaying properly in Mozilla Firefox. On the other hand, some flash effects are not displaying in both browsers.

Can you please help me in figure out that what may cause these strange results?

Could you post screenshots, or upload the swfs, or describe exactly what is wrong, or describe the details of the files (flash version, are filters being used, are components being used, etc), or describe the details of the computers you tested them on, (flash versions, browser versions)

Sorry but I can’t upload screen shot because company policy.

But yes, we have used filters in flash effects.

Also in most PCs, Flash player version for Firefox is WIN 9,0,115,0 while for Explorer it is WIN 9,0,124,0.

And on 2 PCs there is Flash player version for Explorer is WIN 7,0,19,0. So I think it is issue regarding Flash Player Version in browser.

Any suggestion about this solution except downloading laster Flash Player Version?

this could be from really many reasons,

the best thing is to show your problem :stare:

That’s one way of looking at it…although the real issue is probably that you’ve narrowed down your potential audience by targetting the wrong Flash Player. If you want people with Flash Player 7 to be able to view your content without forcing them to download a newer version of the Player, then you must design specifically for that Player. This means altering your Publish Settings and not using any of the effects that are available in Flash 8.
