Hey all, I’ve been driving myself nuts trying to figure how to use hitTest correctly. In a simple example I’ve made, all I want to do is change the text in a dynamic text field when one movieclip hits another but I can’t seem to get it. Please help.

(don’t be confused by the textfield that keeps changing to ‘up’, ‘right’, ‘down’, ‘left’, that was just me screwing around, the text field that is supposed to changed when the collision occurs is the one that says ‘detect’)
