Please help with 'pause' between motion tweening scenes

Hi there,

I am trying to get 3 x images to scroll across the stage one after the other in a loop. I have created one simple layer with 3 x scenes: each scene contains a single image that scrolls across the screen left to right using tweening motion. I have used the Actions property box to simply say:‘goto&play’ ‘nextscene’.

So my loop is working but I would like each image to stop a couple seconds before it plays the next one. How do I do that?

I was hoping for a simple action to ‘pause’ the image at the end of the motion tween before it moves on to the next scene containing the next motion tweening image. Is that possible? Can I apply animation intervals between motion tweens in this case and if so how?

Basically all I’m trying to do is get the images to move across the stage one after the other with a slight pause in-between so viewers get chance to look at them. I just don’t know how to ‘pause’ the image at the end of each motion tweening before it goes and plays the next image on the next scene, or even if there is a better way of doing the whole thing as in using different layers, etc.

I am a beginner but I really need this to work as I’m supposed to improve the look of our website at work. Please help!

Thank you in advance for your reply.

PS: not that i’m desperate or anything…!!! (which I obviously am…)
