Kirupa, I have no message whatsoever in my inbox or any other folder, but it does say “Your Inbox is 4.29% full”, what’s that?
btw, I’m back from my hollidays, Spain was TOO HOT, tan is ok but washing off, ready to get the usual screen-tan on again, lol

Glad to see you back from your trip =) When viewing the PM messages, do you have it showing all the messages from the beginning? Often times, you may only be viewing messages from the past 6 months, and a few messages may be stored from a date prior to that.

i did select “from the beginning” and it still comes back empty…i’m no noobie, lol
In the drop down box in the PM area you can select the option for Sent Messages, I know for me it automatically stores them there. That is part of your fill meter.
Also try clearing out your message tracking as well.
yup, that was it, killed 3 of these buggers and now it’s down to 0.

indeed, that’s why i insisted on the inbox, not knowing that this bloody thing doens’t know the difference between in and out… and i never asked to save anything, i always uncheck that (yeah, sure, computers are dumb… lol), i’ll just re-disable PM’s again…

you wrote any protos lately?
inititally the bar only included the inbox, but since your PMs could still be filled by sent messages, they were added into the total as well
as for protos, anything Ive written recently if fairly useful to anyone else out in the world have been thrown up at proto.layer51.com
