[LEFT]I have successfully used Stuart Rosenberger’s php script for creating dynamic text images on several sites over the years. It’s quite handy.

My question is** can this script be modified, or does gd even support, the creation of PNG 32 files?** Everything it seems to spit out is formatted as PNG 8. But on a particular site I’m developing I need it to output PNG 32 so the headers display properly on a dark background yet still print legibly…
(I’m a designer, not a programmer)
