PNG Sequence vs. Embedded Video?

Hey Everybody, quick question: I have been running into a lot of times recently where I am importing a lot of png sequences into flash, which of course bloats the filesize of my swf’s. If I use embedded video instead of a png sequence I save a little bit on filesize and it’s a little bit easier to deal with single video files rather than tracking versions of large png sequences, but something about using embedded video a lot in an application just seems sorta weird.

Anybody care to sound off about how they typically handle this sort of situation? Do most of you use PNG sequence or Embedded Video or something else alltogether?

Any input would be appreciated, thanks!
