no, but flash is useful on pocket pc… although the player is crappy (have to use IE)
You actually don’t have to use IE. YOu can get a software called flashasstist, that will play your swf as a stanalone application that can take over the whole screen. So you can have a 320x240 movie.
Hello. Did you ever get any more information on building a Flash app for a pocket PC or PDA?
Not from anyone else. I’ve been doing plenty of research though, and found FlashAssist Pro which let’s me produce full screen pocket pc applications.
I’ve been searching and haven’t come up with much. Every link in Macromedia for it goes no where.
How does FlashAssist help?
dudeman above says that the player is crappy (the Pocket IE). Which is true usually. But FlashAssist will allow you to open a .swf to a full screen. Flash Assist is like $14.95. Flash Assist Pro is $200 but it allows to create an executable installer as well as create a connection between the application and the pocket pc OS. It’s really worth it.
