Anyone know much about this “podcasting” junk? My boss asked me to research it today, so I did. 
I’ve come to a couple of conclusions:
- Has very little to do with the iPod
- Seems to be riding off the ill-justified “blog” craze
- Offers little new other than a transformation of information to a medium that requires more time to obtain said information
- (as such) Provides an excellent means for sucking up the net’s bandwidth
- Most descriptions seem to miss the mark on what it is exactly. Comparing it to TiVo? Audio files embedded as email attachments? Apples and oranges
- Overall its stupid
