Pop up windows problem on different browsers! Please help!

Hi, hope someone can help!

I have built a flash mx site on a mac.

It is in testing now, originally I had a problem with the pop up windows on the portfolio section of the site not working on Internet explorer 6 on a Pc but they worked fine on Netscape. I was originally publishing the swf using dreamweaver 3, so i just thought on the off chance i’d use dreamweaver 4 to publish the site and pop up and maybe that might fix it - it did fix my internet explorer problem but then it failed to work on Netscape and xp.

Does anyone know what the problem is??

Also someone mentioned to me that some pop ups are blocked - can you block them and unblock them on your personal browser settings? How does that work?

I have the pop up code and they work fine but not on all broswers on a pc?!

oh well im not sure about that, i never had that problem. i thought maybe you were using a different code

could you tell me waht you are using to view the site? that would help, whether it is a pc using internet explorer 6 or 5.5 etc… that would help me isolate the issue! Cheers!

sure at work we use ie 5.5 at home ie 6. all pc platforms

boy this is taking a rediculous time to load. could u tell me what section has popups?

the section with the pop ups is the portfolio sections - there are four of them - identity, design, realisation and newmedia. when you hover over the images on the right and click the shuld generate pop ups? Re: loading time are you on broadband? Cheers mate
