First off, I am working from the ‘Launching a centered Popup Window’ tutorial by Kirupa Chinnathambi, located here:

I had great success using this in my main flash file, but I want to generate similar popups in the externally loaded .swf files that are ‘nested’ into my main flash piece. For some reason, they won’t work there…

If you click on ‘pictures’ from the menu, the photo gallery icons have the same popup code, but do not work. However if you click on ‘press’, the popup in the parent flash works.
Any ideas? I am but a poor musician trying to make a nice band site…
