Hi i tried this tutorial for the site that i am buliding
and the codes in tis tutorial is for the main timeline with its ‘_root.’ code. example, everything is refer to the main timeline like root.section etc. I need to put this transition in a movieclip in stead of being on the main timeline so i was wondering if anyone know how do make the transitions work and to read the swf files successfully, if this was done in a movie clip? bascially, i need the whole tutorial to work independently in a movie clip. i tried to get rid of the ‘_root’ but it doesnt work. i gave the mov clip that house this a name, like a.section.gotoAndPlay ect but it doesnt work.

i am using flash mx 2004, and the tute is for flash mx, does this make a difference?
