Preloader/external swf blues

Hi. I want to load an external swf eg. test.swf. Inside test.swf, there is a preloader. It loads up, but then after a couple seconds goes back to the loaded preloader. I’ve put stops in various places to stop this happening, but to no avail. What code do I need to stop this happening and where do I need to put?I’m sure it’s really simple…someone please help!!! Thanx
