Hello everybody,
im currently making a website completely in flash, but I ran into a problem. One of the sub pages of the website contains a movie clip with lots of pictures. due to these pictures the site gets very large. it is very anoing if a sites is opened and nothing is visible until the complete site is loaded. Therefore I wanted to integrate a preloader into the swf file. But my question is: can I load movie clips whith such a preloader? It is very important that the home page and such are directly visible, but the page where the movie clip is on is loaded when you want to visit that page…
I used the simple preloader from kirupa: http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/percentagepreloader.htm
Also another question which i have is: in firefox this above loader works perfectly, but internet exploren chooses to load the file complete, therefore skipping the loader function. Can something be done about this?
