I’m new to server-side programming, but kinda old to Flash.
We have this project similar to e-Bay website. A bid, buy and sell kinda thing.
There’s a portion were in you’re about to upload a picture, pic below is an example:
I see a lot of websites using this, like flickr, myspace or any community websites, photobucket… etc…
my boss has this idea that the preloader can be done in flash. I can do preloaders in flash (full flash), but not in dynamic webpages…
The questions are
1.) is it doable?
2.) should we still use flash? because i know myself it should be done in javascript or something.
3.) if not flash, what? (please give me idea what to research or what to study to do this preloader)
