Preloader?

I created a website in flash. In this flash file, I have other movies load onto the main stage. My question is, how do I create a simple preloader for each one of these movies that load on the main stage? Right now, if I click on a button that triggers a “loadmovie” action, there is a 3 or 4 second delay before the movie loads onto the main stage. This is why I want to create a preloader for these seperate movies so the viewer looking at my site is not sitting there wondering what is going on. I tried to look at some tutorials for preloaders but I am not realy sure how to apply them. If some one could explain the process it would be great. Thanks.
