Hi there!
I have an external .MOV file that is 1MB in size. I have tried embedding this in a SWF file, but the size jumps to 13MB… so that is out of the question.
So I have my button loading the external MOV file and playing in whatever player the computer chooses, usually in the browser window. But until the movie loads the browswer window is blank.
So my question is, is there anyway to set up a preloader for the external MOV file? If so… how? I know how to set up a preloader if I was to go with the 13MB SWF method… but that is insane.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
