Ok, for those of you that read my last post about preloading external swfs, forget about it. I figured I would try to put preloaders in each of the external swf’s, but I don’t think that would be the best idea for the way I have it set up. Here is the deal.
On frame 1 of my main fla, I create an empty movie clip in which my external swf’s are to load into. What I want to do is preload each of the external swfs as they are loaded via button click. I’m thinking, and after reading, that the preloaders being placed in the timelines of the external clips are going to be useless because they won’t even show until they are actually loaded anyway.
For those of you out there that have successfully preloaded external swfs into empty clips before, I’d appreciate your success stories. Thanks for your time,
