Prespective desperate

I would love to know how to draw cubes or buildings in prepective , make them look 3D.

somebody please help

what is use your program of choice. If you use swift v3 it is very very very easy…In ps it will be a lil harder but you can draw a series of boxes then use the perspective filter. but I would say use a 3d app//…Can you post an example/

vdesigns- I whipped this up real quik are you looking for something like this? Nevermind the shadows and stuff…Did it in like 1 minute in swift…You would of course take more time with the buildings where as I just used primitives

yes…3d
but is there a way to do it in flash itself …real fast
i know it would be oen step at a time but there should be a way to do it flash

well appreciated

look up some resources online about “3-point perspective” (or 2 point) or just perspective drawing in general. Theres a whole process in drawing 3D imagery based around vanishing points and perspective skewing. alot of that process can be more easily approximaged in Flash (MX) thanks to the deformation too. Its much easier to take a flat image and put it into perspective now. With that, you can pretty much skip the formal perspective techniques and just eyeball it, quickly and easily with decent results.

what sen said plus if you are drawing actual detailed buildings in flash I cannot think if an easy way. Pen tool and shapes. It is the shadows and stuff tha I think pose the most probems. But then again I gues to what detail you want your city scene. I would say if you can get your hand on swift v3. www.erain.com That lil scene I made could be animated (like a walk through) in swift and exported to flash. So that is the easiest way if you have the resource. But in any event good luck. Post again if you get stuck.
