Print in Flash MX 2004

Hi Friend,

Here is attaching the source files (.fla and .xml). I want to print Multiple Records on one CLICK using PrintJob(). I have got success in printing multiple records where i am not loading XML, i have data stored in an Array Object like dataToPrint=[“a”, “b”, “c”]. And this is getting printed fine with prinjob on 3 diff pages. But in case of a situation where i am getting data from XML I am unable to print.

I would request you to look at the source files i have attached. I have 2 buttons 1 called SETUP which creates dynamic MCs at run time and fills up data with records like MC1 with records from (1-13) and MC2 with records (14-26). Just look into Printing Details. Now these 2 MCS in the example i have given are being attahced to one EmptyMC which is palced on Main Stage. And clicking on Print Button i am printing EmptyMC.

I am able to print 2 pages but they are coming with the same record set. ie 1-13. Can anyone help me out with this Plssssssss

Buttons and Script to print is written inside MC A4-P. If any doubts or querys pls ask …

can’t you save it in MX instead of MX2004? Or will this ruin your project?

I was expecting suggessions from you if not the perfect answer, but certainly not expected this one :slight_smile:

I have been fighting with this Print Problem for few months but just couldnt get through and also posted in Forums quite a few times but…sad no replies. Anyways…I have to come out with something.

Again thanx for giving me some HOPES, though just lasted for a while
