okay so “on-device only” instantly makes this feel way less sketchy than the usual “make an account to catalog your hobby” thing. and yeah, spreadsheet chaos is so real once you’re tracking faceups, outfits, spare hands, eyes, wigs… it turns into a tiny inventory database overnight.
Look — “on-device only” feels great until the day your phone gets lost or iOS decides it’s time to “offload” things. I’d want a dead-simple export/backup (CSV or a ZIP to Files/iCloud) so your whole catalog doesn’t vanish the night before a doll meet.
“On-device only” is how you end up crying into a tote bag at 11pm because your phone took a swim. Privacy-first can still mean “you control the backup” — give me an encrypted export I can save to Files/iCloud and re-import when iOS inevitably does something weird.
