Long time reader, first time poster. I’m not a fan of asking for help but I am stuck at the moment so I will try to explain. I am creating my first Flash website, and after some struggles creating everything dynamically I have decided to simply use the old gotoAndStop on labels that contain text.
My problem:
I have a movieclip for my background (bg_mc), and inside this I have a movie clip that contains a drop down menu inside it(signage_mc). I have used a mask to create the dropdown menu, and on the second frame of signage_mc I have my actions targeting the items in the drop down menu. I have traced these and they work when clicked. Now I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I would go about targeting bg_mc when someone clicks an item in this menu.
