i’ve been following this tutorial:

to create a sliding element in the back of a flash i’m working on. (basically, a map of the world with a little navigation to slide left and right to see all the different parts).
my problem is that i need the object to move up and down the same way it moves left and right.
everything i’ve tried doesn’t work, it’s like the changes i made to the code are not even there (i basically duplicated the code and changed all the X to Y).
can anyone help?
