Problem with Accordion menu

So I’ve made accordion menu using this tutorial:

But there is one problem which I can’t figure out. I’m begginer.

So what should I change to get that the menu text(Home, About, Contacts) from xml file is on the picture(imported media), and not on the special seperate place(those gray areas)?

In this example there is text on the pictures visible part like I need:

And then it disappears(which I need too).

AS3 code you can see below in tutorial link. Could you help me, please? This is really important.
