Problem with button and motion

Hello, I’m just learning flash and I am having a bit of a problem. I’m doing a site for a ski resort (just a school project) and it has to be done in flash. Anyway, there are 5 buttons down the left side of the page. When you click on each button i want the graphic of a ski lift i made to move across the top of the screen, bringing the title with it. I can’t get the graphic of the lift to move when I click on the button. So i guess basically I am trying to get something to move across the screen when I click on the button. Thanks in advance for any help!!!
