I have a problem with using the LoadVars() command.
This is what I am trying to do. On button press, the LoadVars() command is used to load this file called “getvalue.cgi”, which wil extract the data for me and updates some dynamic textboxes.
This is where the problem lies:
When I tested the movie on Macromedia Flash MX2004, the data was loaded and updated everytime I clicked on the button. However, when I proceeded to publish it on HTML, it only worked for the first time, the 2nd and subsequent clicks only shows the the values of the first, as it, it doesnt update the textfields at all. However, when i deleted the temporary internet files and reloaded the page, it again worked once.
I really dont know what is going on. Going to the .swf page does not work. In fact it only works unpublished.
