ABOUT MY PAGE: For my site, my main SWF file is just a menu with a big ol’ target area. All the menu buttons link to external SWF files which load inside the target area on the main SWF file.
I created another SWF file… a “welcome” text animation to play inside the target area on the main SWF file.
MY PROBLEM: If I click on any menu button before the “welcome” animation is over, the new material connected to whichever button I pressed loads under the “welcome” text.
MY QUESTION: How can I go about creating an action that stops the “welcome” animation when you click on any button in my main menu?
The closest thing I could think of, was to move the “welcome” animation under the target area layer. But doing that just made them disapear completely.
For a better idea of what is “going down” (as the kids say), here is a link to the page in question:
Thanks guys,
Daniel
