I followed the Kirupa’s XML-Flash-Photogallery tutorial to create a new tutorial for a site I was building. The tutorial is great, very easy to follow and, after I had finished seting up my xml and swf, as well as formating my pictures, I realised something didn’t work. The exact same file worked fine with the Kirupa’s pics but not with mine.
After one hour of testing different paths, file names, etc., I found out the problem was in the formating I choose when I optimised my pictures for the web: they where set up for progressive display. As soon as I removed that option, everything just worked perfectly!!!
I just wanted to let others know about this issue and perhaps spare them some trouble. Anyway, thanks to Kirupa and everybody else
