Problems making a custom button

I am pretty new to the wonderful world of Flash … I am able to figure most things out however I am really stuck on this one: I am trying to make a button where when you roll over it the rest of the buttons dissapear and the button you are on stays normal and also there is a word that comes up next to the button. I know how to add the word next to it but i cant figure out how to make the OTHERS dissapear… I have attached samples of what I want my beginning and end result to be… also all my buttons are on seperate layers… thanks in advance for any help!
