To Macneilsit or whomever,
I followed the “Reusable Preloader with MovieClipLoader” tutorial on Kirupa, but for some reason my swf file won’t work.
My file is extremely large (9mb), and when it loads in the preloader movie, it shows up slowly, frame by frame, as if it were loading in a normal fashion. I downloaded the file and substituted my file name in the script, but the same thing is happening.
Does this have to do with the SWF size? The only reason I am preloading my file this way is because I lost the original FLA file, but would still like to use the SWF file without having to piece the whole thing back together.
Can you help me?
