I’m not having any luck with this over in the Flash 8 forum. For some reason, I always seem to post questions that no one knows the answers to. Anyway, I am working on a Flash file from an early tutorial file developed by Alessandro over at sephiroth.it. It’s working fine, that is it works fine until I update the file to run using AS2 and Player 8. It’s a basic poll that uses PHP to read and write to a text file. Well, something with AS2 breaks the file and I’m not sure where.
I’m openening the scene with an animation that resolves to the poll. I am using the lmc_tween classes for animation. So I need to use AS2 and newer players.
I can’t figure out what is wrong, it just bogs down the browser so I think it mght have something to do with the PHP file, or the portion of the AS that communicates with the PHP. I don’t know PHP so can’t really tweak the file.
