Hi I am working on creating a flash projector file for a usb stick that will run automatically
I have a question about the positioning and screen resolution of a flash projector file.
Here is a link to a layout that I( was given recently:
www.thosedigitalthoughts.com/projector.gif
The client wants to have projector file at a 16:9 format. I want to know how this works with resolutions such as 1024 x 768 and 1280 x 1024 etc (resolutions that are a bit more even vertically and horizontally)
I was thinking to use actionscript to position elements at a certain distance from edge of page without scaling on the individual movie clips which is a bit more complicated than what I normally am capable of as I havent used flash in a long while. I do know that there are templates on active den site that contain this functionality.
Or can I just use the dimensions supplied 16:9 and have a safe area around the border of elements.
And thirdly I remember projecter files or ppt presentations were created a little while ago (1-2 years) at 1024 x 768 and that was all that one needed to be concerned about. Is this still the case but with 16:9 ratio as most screens resemble this proportion it seems these days? Do i just have to have an fs command that disallows scaling for this second more basic method to be successful as well.
Thanks
