Publish gif doesn't work, only export>movie>gif

Hey,

I’m curious why when i try to publish as a gif it looks bonkers
but looks dandy when exporting movie as an animated gif ?

I´m not doing anything magical just a tween and alpha fade.

Everything is on the main timelin,e nothing is hidden inside
MC´s. I played around with the GIF settings in the publish tab
but it eneded up looking really bad.

I’ve seen a few other gif animations, howcome when
exporting this fla to gif the fade looks so grainy? is there a way to
avoid it?

i´m still baffled why F8 cannot publish the gif only export it.
