I’m using the XML Photo Gallery (http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/xml_flash_photogallery.htm) and instead of an image I wish to include a video in one of the ‘slides’. I’m not sure how exactly to go about it because the gallery loads images and text from XML, it can’t load a flash video player (being a movieclip) from XML.
However, can I include some data in the XML to reference back to Flash to make a movieclip visible and go to a particular frame to start the player? Is it possible to control the Flash timeline and symbols from XML, or even HTML?
I haven’t constructed the full photo gallery yet as I would like to find out if it’s possible to incorporate video into it, first.
