Pythagorean thrm problem((a^2)+(b^2)=c^2)

ok i might have spelled the name of the thrm wrong but Im having a problem when i put 2 movieclip into a anothe rmovie clip then calculate there distance it’s not accurate at imtes i get NAN. any fixes? I’ve trace their x and y coords and it should do this.
