Q : Image into flash

Hi all,

When I import an image into flash, I make 2 layers.
Now, when you draw something OVEr that image, you dont see it IN the image. This is solved easily by working in the other layer, BUT… I dont want that.
Is there a way I just import an image, and flash doesnt 'look’at it or touches it, so I can do whatever I want (draw over it etc) but flash wo nt do anything else with it.

Thx.

hmmmm…maybe drag the layer that your drawing on above the layer of the image?

I’m not realy shure what you meen… but if you want to ‘edit’ parts of it, you have to break it appart, make it a ‘vektor’ (shape) :party:

@dru,

If I do that, Flash ****s up (I use keyframes a lot…then it goes all messy etc.)
And It goes back to the normal layer everytime u made a change … :frowning:

all u have to do is click and drag the layer above the image layer. Don’t mess with the frames, they all move when you drag the layer.

It can’t be this simple… :stunned:

No…when i do that, I f.e. draw something then, it IDD shows up ON the pic.
But as soon as you click somewhere else and back, the layer swapped again etc.

Sorry, but im very confused by your explanations. Maybe just post your fla file so we can have a look.

I think I know what you mean- you want to lock the lower layer. Next to the layer names on the right are two dots. One, when clicked, will render the layer invisible- the other will lock it.

Right, got it now!
Thx all.
