Question about Kirupa's Flash MX Random Motion tutorial

Hi. I’m really enjoying the Flash MX tutorials on the Kirupa site.

I’m having a problem with the Random Motion tutorial, and I’m hoping someone can offer a solution. When I follow the tutorial guidelines, the movie doesn’t work. Moreover, when I download the *fla file and run it, it doesn’t work either. I can see the various circles in the movie pane, but there is no motion.

Any suggestions? I can see the motion on the embedded movie on the tutorial page, but I can’t see it on versions I create on my computer. I’m running Flash MX on Windows 2000.

I’m new to Flash, so I might be overlooking something simple. Sigh.

I appologize for that last post. I just found a page on the site that discusses some of the differences between Flash 5 and Flash MX and the way random motion is handled. I was previously looking at the Flash 5 code.
