Question about loading text

I am new to the action script stuff… but i was wondering how to do this. When a button is pressed it loads text to the other side of a page with a scrollbar… and if u press a different button say news because i am trying to make a flash website… it will bring up news on the right hand side and then when contact is clicked your contact information will be brought up on the right side instead of the news. Thanks
